How leadstere.com uses cookies
This page describes the cookies and similar technologies used on leadstere.com, why we use them, and how you can change your consent. It is published in line with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and the UK GDPR.
1. What are cookies
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. We also use closely related browser-storage technologies such as localStorage for the same purposes. References to “cookies” in this policy cover both.
2. Categories we use
Strictly necessary cookies. These keep the site working: recording that you have confirmed you are 18 or over, remembering your cookie choice itself, and supporting basic security. Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent under PECR.
Optional analytics cookies. If you accept these via the cookie banner, we may collect aggregated information about which pages readers visit, where they enter the site and broad device categories. We use this to understand which articles are useful and which need rewriting. Analytics data is not used to build advertising profiles.
Marketing cookies. Leadstere does not set marketing or advertising cookies on leadstere.com.
3. The choices on the cookie banner
The banner offers two equally prominent choices: Accept all and Reject optional. Both choices are recorded with the same persistence. If you reject optional cookies, only strictly necessary cookies operate.
4. Changing your mind
You can change your choice at any time by clearing the browser storage for leadstere.com, after which the banner will reappear on your next visit. You can also disable or delete cookies in your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block cookies entirely; doing so may affect basic site behaviour.
5. Third-party cookies
If you click through to an operator’s site from a Leadstere page, the operator may set its own cookies. Those cookies are governed by that operator’s own cookie policy, not ours.
6. Reviewing this notice
We review this notice periodically and whenever we add or remove a category of cookie. The colophon date in the footer reflects the most recent review. This notice was last reviewed in May 2026.
7. Contact and complaints
Questions about cookies on leadstere.com can be sent to [email protected]. If you believe we have processed personal data unlawfully, you may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
